New knife edge horizons

This is the first time I have taken the plunge with non-stainless steel knives and so far I haven’t been disappointed. I learned fast that I need additional items like mineral oil and special sharpening tool, so Thomas is bringing me into another of experiences and I’m looking forward to more. Thanks Cain & Abel!

Best tool for youngsters

Our 8 year old son has been cooking up a storm with mom since he was 3.
He got to the point where is wanted his own "Chef's Knife". The Thomas fits perfectly in little hands and we have been enjoying the best meals our little chef whipped up. Cam personalized this for us with a one off engraving, it looks spectacular !
Thank you for great service and a top quality product.

Common Questions

What Is Carbon Steel?

Carbon steel is a type of metal made mostly from iron and a small amount of carbon. That carbon makes the steel harder, which means it can be sharpened to a very fine edge and stay sharp for longer. It's not stainless, so it can rust if left wet. With simple care, it lasts a long time and cuts really well. That’s why carbon steel is often used in high-quality knives.
