Returns Policy
7-day Return Policy
We understand that it can be hard to know if something is right until you use it. If you buy one of our knives, then decide it's not for you (very unlikely), then return it to us and we will refund you the purchase price.
We will happily accept the knife back (with open arms) as long as the care instructions have been followed. The knife/product must be returned in its original packaging and cannot be broken or damaged.
Once the product has been returned, we will judge its condition.
The 7 days begin from the moment the knife is delivered to your doorstep. The customer must return the product to us at their own cost. This policy applies only to direct online sales. (Purchases made from stockists or at events are not included.)
Our Return Process
To begin the process, fill out the form here. You will need to return the knife/product back to us at your own cost.

You must include in the box the following information:
The Name The Order Was Made With, Order Number & Your E-mail.
Once the knife has been returned to our store, we will assess it and then process the refund. The refund can take up to 7days from when we receive the product back in our warehouse.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned like custom products (such as engraved knives). We also do not accept returns for seconds, sale items, gift cards or discounted items. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to contact us at hello@cainandabel.co.nz.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 15 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
