Stop Throwing Your Knife Naked In The Drawer.

We've all done it. Chuck the knife in the drawer with the spatulas, the can opener, and hope for the best.

Two things happen. The edge chips. And one day you reach in and find out exactly how sharp it still is.

Your knife needs somewhere it can sit without banging into other stuff. You've got a few options.

A knife block keeps every blade separated and within reach. Ours is made from the same Padauk wood as your knife handle so they match. Sits on the bench. Looks good. Does its job.

A magnetic strip goes on the wall. Saves bench space. Good if you like having your knives on display. Just place it on gently. Don't slide the edge across the magnet or you'll dull it.

A leather sheath is underrated. Slides over the blade, keeps it protected. Good for drawers, travel, or if you just don't have room for a block. Simple and it works.

The worst option is no protection at all. A bare blade loose in a drawer gets dull fast, chips easy, and will eventually cut you when you're fishing around for a teaspoon.

Pick one. Any of them beats the drawer.
